Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high-performance Operations team. You will drive automation, improve stability and scalability of customer-facing systems, and collaborate with a global pool of tech specialists in an Agile environment.

The role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days work from home across Australian offices. Australian Citizenship and NV1 security clearance eligibility may be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive DevOps experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of IaC concepts and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with open source and VMware automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish operational excellence with automation across multiple technologies.
• OS deployment, configuration, and security hardening.
• Install and configure application middleware platforms.
• Deploy to VMware and VMware Cloud on AWS.
• Code deployment and platform lifecycle management.
• Report for audit and compliance requirements.
• Maintain high availability through change and release processes.
• Collaborate with customers through technical design and delivery.
