Ruby Talent is recruiting Senior DevOps Engineers across AWS, Azure and GCP for Australia’s AI technology sector. Join a fast-growing scale-up with global ambitions, working with an expert engineering team on cloud infra design and automation.

The roles are across Sydney or Melbourne with hybrid flexibility (3 days in the office). Expect ownership of cloud architecture, IaC, observability, and security-compliant infrastructure in a collaborative environment.

About You

We're looking for experienced Senior DevOps Engineers who thrive in environments where things move quickly, ideas are encouraged and engineers are given the opportunity to influence technical direction.

Ideally, you'll have experience working within a technology company, start-up or scale-up environment OR a consulting background and enjoy being challenged.

You will have:

5+ years' proven experience across either cloud from the ground up.

Strong Infrastructure as Code experience, including Terraform, Ansible and similar technologies

Strong experience with cloud monitoring, observability, alerting and logging tools such as Datadog, ELK, Grafana or equivalent

Solid hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure

Experience introducing compliance-ready infrastructure aligned with security and privacy standards.

The ability to take ownership of projects and work collaboratively with engineering, technology and management teams

Experience influencing technical decisions around architecture, tooling, automation and DevOps practices

A genuine passion for DevOps culture, automation, cloud technology and continuous improvement

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
