Job summary

Bluefin Resources Pty in Sydney is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer with expert EKS to join a strategic, enterprise-scale cloud platform. You will help operate and continuously improve the bank's Kubernetes-based gateway platform, migrating away from legacy reverse proxy technologies to a modern cloud-native gateway architecture.

Qualifications

Experience with EKS-based gateways in production.
Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, and cloud-native architectures.
Proven ability to design and operate API gateway platforms.

Responsibilities

Ongoing enhancement of cloud and container environments across Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
Manage and optimise Kubernetes-based gateway technologies for high availability.
Implement GitOps for EKS and automate CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot complex platform, Kubernetes and application deployments.
Drive automation and self-service capabilities for development teams.
Contribute to platform reliability, observability and operational excellence.
Assist with migration from legacy reverse proxy infrastructure to the gateway platform.
