Job summary

Talent seeks Senior DevOps Engineers for a Federal Government agency in Victoria. The role is a 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option, hybrid work with three days in the office.

You will design, build and support scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and/or Azure, Terraform IaC, and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes). You will lead technical delivery within agile teams, collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, and ensure secure, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure).
• Strong DevOps automation and CI/CD experience.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with GitLab, Artifactory, Jira and Git-based workflows.
• Australian citizenship and NV1 clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and support cloud and data infrastructure.
• Design and manage scalable cloud solutions across AWS and/or Azure.
• Build and enhance DevOps practices, tooling and pipelines.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to automate provisioning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and delivery outcomes.
• Lead technical delivery within agile project teams and ensure best practices.
• Ensure documentation aligns with integration and delivery standards.
