Job summary

Recruitment Hive is assisting a Commonwealth Government organisation in Canberra to recruit a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will design, deploy and support the Agency’s Cloud and Data Infrastructure, ensuring scalable, well-documented solutions that align with integration best practices.

You will lead project teams in an agile setting, prioritising work queues to deliver key initiatives on schedule. Strong AWS/Azure experience and Terraform-based IaC are required to drive CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on AWS and/or Azure cloud experience.
• Experience building CD pipelines with IaC Terraform.
• Experience with GitLab, Artifactory, Jira in DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support the Agency’s Cloud & Data Infrastructure.
• Prioritise and manage the work queue to deliver key initiatives on time.
• Ensure solutions adhere to integration best practices and are well documented.
• Lead project teams within an agile development framework.
