Job summary

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) in Sydney seeks an EL1 DevOps Engineer (Labour Hire) to lead complex cloud and data infrastructure initiatives. You will collaborate with the NDIA's full-stack team, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive agile delivery while shaping strategic technical decisions for senior leadership.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure infrastructure and services.
Strong experience in building and deploying DevOps pipelines with GitLab, Artifactory and Jira.
Expertise in Terraform for IaC and automation.
Proficient with Git and agile development methodologies.
Ability to write code in Python, JavaScript or Golang.
Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy and support the Agency's Cloud & Data Infrastructure.
Prioritise and manage the work queue to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
Ensure solutions follow integration best practices and are well documented.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver results.
Lead project teams within an agile framework.
