Job summary

Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join ABC Digital Product and help lead the infrastructure, automation and reliability behind ABC iView services across web and mobile.

You will provide specialist DevOps expertise across cloud provisioning, testing, deployment and production reliability, shaping the longer-term infrastructure roadmap while mentoring engineering colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading cloud-based infrastructure initiatives.
• Experience building secure, reliable build and deployment practices.
• Hands-on AWS-based infrastructure and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation of infrastructure for ABC iView and Digital Product services.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure for web and mobile platforms.
• Define long-term infrastructure and automation roadmap.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines delivering constant readiness.
• Establish infrastructure as code standards.
