Job summary

Hitech Asia Pacific is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead AI, ML and Data Science initiatives on a long-term Federal Govt contract in Australia. The role combines cloud engineering, deployment automation and productionising AI solutions with a hybrid work arrangement across VIC and NSW.

You will drive AWS-based solutions, establish scalable data pipelines, model deployment patterns and robust monitoring, while guiding senior engineers and ensuring security clearances are achievable.

Qualifications

• AWS cloud expertise delivering cloud-based AI/ML/Data Science solutions.
• Technical leadership across DevOps, ML/AI/Data Eng.
• Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring and observability.
• Productionising AI solutions, including data pipelines and model deployment patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering approaches across AI, ML, DevOps and Data Engineering.
• Develop production pathways for AI and Data Science prototypes and proofs of concept.
• Design reusable AWS, RAG, data pipeline, model deployment and monitoring patterns.

Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS, AI, MLOps & Data Science - Fed Govt!

• Lead engineering across AI, Machine Learning & Data Science solutions
• Long-term Federal Government contract with hybrid working

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to provide technical and engineering leadership across complex AI, Machine Learning and Data Science solutions. You will help move innovative solutions from proof of concept through to production-ready, scalable and reusable implementations. The successful Senior DevOps Engineer will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to be extended, with opportunities in VIC and NSW and hybrid working arrangements.

The successful Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Lead engineering approaches across AI, Machine Learning, DevOps and Data Engineering.

Candidates must have the ability to obtain the required security clearance.
