Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd, a Canberra-based recruitment and services company, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead cloud and data infrastructure initiatives in a 12-month hybrid role across ACT, QLD, VIC, NSW, and SA. This position combines AWS, DevOps, Terraform and Kubernetes with strategic technical leadership.

The role requires extensive AWS design and management, strong CI/CD, and coding in Python, JavaScript and Golang.

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS experience designing, implementing and managing scalable cloud solutions.
• Strong DevOps and CI/CD expertise with GitLab, GitHub, Artifactory, Jira and Terraform.
• Coding capability across Python, JavaScript and Golang, supported by Git and Agile experience.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience across containerisation and cluster orchestration.

Senior DevOps Engineer| AWS

Lead complex cloud and data infrastructure delivery as a Principal Software Engineer, combining AWS, DevOps, Terraform and Kubernetes expertise with strategic technical leadership. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 days each week in the office.

Location: ACT, QLD, VIC, NSW, SA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract Duration: 12 months, possible 12-month extension
Security Clearance Requirement: NV1
