Job summary

Architectus in Sydney is seeking a Senior Designer or Architect to lead design and delivery on education-focused projects within a national team. You will collaborate with clients and contractors, develop technical documents, and contribute to project packages to ensure on-time delivery.

You should have 5+ years post-graduation experience, be based in Sydney, and demonstrate proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-graduation experience in architecture or design.
• 3+ years local experience preferred in a similar role.
• Must be located in Sydney.
• Proficiency in Revit, 3D modelling (Rhino preferred) and Adobe.
• Strong design communication to convey concepts through imagery/diagrams.
• Experience with detailing, documentation and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project team to understand client needs and liaise with clients/contractors.
• Contribute to delivery of projects and packages on time.
• Keep project leader informed of technical/design aspects.
• Recommend technical document production for projects.
• Manage delivery of approved technical/design documents.
• Execute performance management processes.
• Role model Architectus culture and values.
• Attend management meetings and provide input.
