Job summary

nbn is seeking a Senior Design Engineer - Fixed Wireless Networks in Melbourne to lead design, integration, validation and deployment of Fixed Wireless capabilities across access, backhaul and core domains. You will work in an Agile environment, delivering scalable, secure and resilient network solutions and mentor team members.

You will bring deep expertise in routing & switching, firewalling, and end-to-end network design, with hands-on experience on Cisco IOS, IOS-XR and JunOS platforms,

Qualifications

• Experience in carrier-grade telecommunications networks with routing & switching, firewall implementation and network design.
• Hands-on experience with EVPN, BGP, MPLS, QoS, OSPF for scalable networks.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality end-to-end telecommunication solutions and perform design & testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, integration, validation and deployment of Fixed Wireless network capabilities.
• Develop high-quality engineering designs, high-level and detailed designs, and configurations.
• Mentor team members and support planning, engagement and delivery with internal/external partners.
