Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Derivatives Operations Specialist to support the end-to-end lifecycle of OTC and listed derivatives within Investment Operations. You will ensure accurate trade capture, settlement, margining, and collateral management across asset classes.

You will work with front office, risk, and compliance teams, liaising with external counterparties to resolve issues, monitor trade breaks, and uphold EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and MiFID II controls while seeking process improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in derivatives operations, within asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking.
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes, including trade capture, margining, collateral management, and settlement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Operational execution: support the processing and lifecycle management of OTC and listed derivatives, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, margining, and collateral management.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve efficiency; collaborate with technology teams on automation initiatives.
• Liaise with front office, risk, compliance, and external counterparties to resolve issues and ensure timely and accurate trade lifecycle processing.
