Job summary

Queensland Health seeks a Senior Deployment Technician to drive workstation replacement (WSR) activities, support incidents, and manage assets within a defined geographic area. You will assist the Deployment Coordinator and collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure seamless device replacements and service continuity.

You will apply your ICT expertise to diagnoses, asset management, and documentation, while learning ServiceNow and ITIL processes to support timely, quality

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing, configuring, monitoring and implementing ICT environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and resolve issues within agreed Service Levels.
• Knowledge of asset management, procurement and records management policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by applying communication skills with an ability to negotiate, advise and work collaboratively with others to reach decisions.
• Provide timely support by conducting investigation and diagnosis of incidents and applying ICT incident management processes to meet SLAs.
• Support the local Deployment Coordinator to manage team members and activities to deliver the WSR program for supported sites.
• Engage as a team member to ensure WSR activities (stock management, run up, deployment and installation) are completed per work processes.
• Ensure asset management integrity by following work processes and regular asset activities.
• Provide financial administrative support within WSR, including quoting and ICT asset management.
• Provide ad-hoc on-site and remote support to Queensland Health sites as required.
