Job summary

Smile Sanctuary Mortdale Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Office Coordinator / Senior Dental Receptionist to join our modern boutique practice. The role focuses on enhancing the patient experience and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

You will manage appointments, coordinate treatments, support clinicians and help grow the practice within a welcoming team across 5 days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental reception, administration or practice coordination.
• Warm, patient-focused posture with strong communication skills.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and reliable ownership.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and creating an exceptional patient experience.
• Managing appointments and coordinating the clinical diary.
• Optimising clinician schedules and filling cancellations.
• Treatment coordination and patient follow-up.
• Managing treatment plans, patient records and payments.
• Responding to patient enquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Supporting dentists and clinical staff with administrative requirements.
• Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
• Maintaining practice systems, protocols and organisation.
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and patient experience.
