• Standardise tray setups and clinical workflows to streamline procedures.
• Offer calm, compassionate support to patients, particularly those with anxiety or special needs.

The Senior Dental Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of clinical care and ensuring the smooth operation of back-of-house processes. Working closely with the Practice Manager, this position supports the delivery of exceptional dental care while also leading key operational functions such as mentoring and training junior dental assistants, managing clinical stock, and upholding infection control protocols. The Senior Dental Assistant contributes to a compliant, efficient, and well-coordinated clinical environment, driving day-to-day excellence in partnership with practice leadership.

About you

High School Certificate or equivalent and on the job training; or Certificate III or Certificate IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience.

A radiation license preferred but not needed.

Proven ability to be punctual, reliable and multi task.

Proficiency in English.

Must have the right to work in Australia.

Excellent time management and organization skills.
