Job summary

Randstad Australia is seeking a Demand Planning Specialist based at the North Ryde office to help secure product availability, optimize inventory and minimize stockouts in a fast-moving retail environment.

You will lead S&OP cycles, collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance, and maintain demand plans in SAP IBP weekly to support timely replenishment. Strong Excel modeling and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in Demand Planning and SCM operations.
• Deep SAP and SAP IBP experience.
• Advanced Excel data modeling.
• University degree preferred.
• Retail or FMCG/Consumer electronics exposure.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Agile, independent and adaptable with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Australia S&OP cycle and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance to validate forecasts.
• Maintain weekly demand plans in SAP IBP to ensure timely replenishment and stock availability.
• Evaluate short-term demand changes and refine baseline forecast models.
• Lead deep-dive reviews of forecast accuracy with Sales teams to drive improvements.
• Manage safety stock, lead times, and depletion strategies to keep inventory healthy.
• Coordinate phase-in and phase-out plans with Commercial teams and maintain accurate master data.
• Partner with Supply and Shipping to track inbound orders and publish stock/status reports.
