Job summary

Randstad Australia is seeking a driven Demand Planning Specialist based in North Ryde/Sydney to join the Australian Supply Chain team. You will own end-to-end demand planning, ensure product availability, and optimize inventory in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires 3-5 years in demand planning, expertise in SAP and SAP IBP, advanced Excel, and strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven experience in Demand Planning and Supply Chain Management operations.
• Must-have SAP and SAP IBP experience.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel-driven data modeling.
• University degree strongly preferred.
• Experience in retail or FMCG/Consumer Electronics is beneficial.
• Strong analytical capability and attention to data quality.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Australian S&OP cycle and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align forecasts.
• Maintain and upload demand plans into the SAP IBP system weekly.
• Evaluate short-term demand fluctuations and refine baseline forecast models.
• Lead deep-dives into account-level forecast hits/misses with sales teams.
• Manage safety stock, lead times, and depletion strategies to keep stock healthy.
• Oversee phase-in/phase-out plans with Commercial teams and ensure master data accuracy.
• Coordinate with Supply and Shipping to track inbound orders and report on stock status.
