Job summary

Rynal Pty Ltd in Canberra is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide specialist support for Defence communications systems, including voice, video and data networks (LAN/WAN). You will design, implement and oversee secure network solutions in partnership with Defence stakeholders and contractors.

The ideal candidate holds NV1 clearance, a Chartered Professional Engineer (or eligible), a degree in a related field, and proven leadership experience in secure networks and ASDEFCON projects.

Qualifications

• NV1 Security Clearance required.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (or eligible to obtain chartered status).
• Degree in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with network engineering, telecommunications, and secure network environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Leadership/team management experience.
• ASDEFCON experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist network engineering support for Defence communications systems, including voice, video, and data networks (LAN/WAN).
• Support network design, integration, assurance, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and contractor oversight.
