Qualifications

• 5+ years' recruitment experience, ideally within Defence, Engineering, Infrastructure or Technical recruitment.
• Demonstrated success managing and growing a profitable permanent recruitment desk.
• A strong business development mindset and the ability to win new clients and opportunities.
• Proven experience developing long-term client relationships and repeat business.
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering recruitment revenue.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• A proactive, self-driven and highly motivated approach.
• The ability to identify opportunities, influence outcomes and drive growth.
• Defence industry knowledge or experience working with technical and engineering talent markets (highly regarded)

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established permanent recruitment desk within the Defence Engineering and Technical sectors
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities
• Generate new revenue through strategic business development and account growth
• Partner with hiring managers to deliver high-quality recruitment solutions across specialist technical disciplines
• Build and maintain talent pipelines within Defence, Engineering and Technical markets
• Develop trusted adviser relationships with both clients and candidates
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and increase market share
• Negotiate terms of business and manage end-to-end recruitment processes
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the broader Kinexus business
• Represent Kinexus across industry events, networking activities and client engagements
