Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a Senior Systems & Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen our cyber posture across Defence capabilities. You will lead cyber risk management, coordinate with Defence authorities, and ensure compliance with ISM, PSPF and DSPF while guiding system security artefacts and accreditation activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in cyber security, systems engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in Defence or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Defence cyber security frameworks (ISM/PSPF/DSPF).
• Experience developing and maintaining cyber security documentation and accreditation artefacts.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain Australian Defence security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary cyber security focal point for C4I, Mission System ICT, and cyber-sensitive OT systems.
• Lead cyber risk management activities including identification, analysis, mitigation, and communication of threats and residual risks.
• Assess configuration changes, software updates, firmware releases, engineering changes, and system integrations for cyber-worthiness impacts.
• Maintain alignment of system configurations with security baselines, accreditation requirements, and certified states.
• Prepare technical evidence, configuration data, and security assurance documentation for Defence certification and accreditation.
• Provide cyber engineering support for incident detection, triage, and post-incident improvement.
