Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a Senior Systems & Cyber Security Specialist in Adelaide to join our Hybrid workplace. You will contribute to security assessment, certification, and IT security artefacts across a major defence modernisation program.

You will lead security controls, review changes for compliance, and mentor staff as needed, with opportunities to advance within a world-class cyber team serving the Australian Defence Force.

Qualifications

• Certifications in cyber security or related IT field.
• Exposure to security tools, vulnerability scanning, or incident response.
• Familiarity with Defence and Australian Government security frameworks (ISM, DSPF, PSPF).
• University degree in IT/Engineering/CS/Cyber Security or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Shape Critical Defence Infrastructure through cyber security work.
• Support cyber security assessment and Authority to Operate lifecycle.
• Grow skills in defence security frameworks and multi-level classifications.
• Analyse existing and developing systems to implement security controls.
