Job summary

KBR is seeking a Contracts Administrator in Sydney to manage the commercial aspects of subcontracting for the ACS CLCM Maritime Sustainment Program. You will support procurement, supplier qualification, RFQ processes and subcontract documentation in coordination with the Commercial Manager.

The role requires a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, familiarity with ASDEFCON and ITAR requirements, and the ability to lead with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance and

Qualifications

• A recognised tertiary qualification in Business, Legal, Finance, Contract/Construction Administration, Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Defence and Commonwealth contracting policies and ASDEFCON templates.

Responsibilities

• Manage full procurement and administration for subcontracting work in coordination with the Commercial Manager.
• Qualify suppliers, issue RFQs, evaluate proposals, and maintain subcontract files.
• Draft and maintain the Subcontractor Management Plan and related documentation.
• Contribute to subcontract negotiations, flow-downs and ITAR/compliance considerations.
• Support financial planning, pricing and subcontract administration.
