Job summary

KBR in Australia is seeking a Contracts Administrator (Part Time) to support commercial management for a Defence sustainment program. The role works with the ACS CLCM Commercial Manager across Head Contracts and subcontract requirements.

You will manage contractual matters, support governance, and ensure compliance with export controls and ITAR, while collaborating with operations, finance and project controls in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in business, law or finance.
• 5+ years in Defence/government commercial management or procurement.
• Experience with negotiations and contract variations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with export controls and ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support contract management and procurement under ASDEFCON suite.
• Draft notices, claims and change proposals; maintain records.
• Provide commercial support for S&Q activities and supplier engagements.
• Assist negotiations, variations and purchase orders while managing risks.
• Serve as Export Control Officer and ensure ITAR compliance.
