Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a talented deep learning engineer to push perception technologies for autonomous and non‑autonomous platforms. You will design and implement state‑of‑the‑art perception capabilities, deploying DL models to edge devices and collaborating with a team of engineers to scale up your tooling.

Required: 3–5 years in industry, strong experience with CNNs or transformers, and proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow. Experience with MLOps and edge inference is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in delivering deep-learning‑based solutions to solve computer vision problems.
• 3–5 years of industry experience in perception and DL on edge devices.
• Publications in leading CV/AI/ML venues desirable.

Responsibilities

• Research, design and implement perception capabilities for autonomous and non‑autonomous platforms.
• Deploy AI stack to edge devices and scale DL operations.
• Collaborate with other DL engineers to architect tools for scale.
• Stay current with literature and contribute to multiple R&D projects.
