Job summary

NPAworldwide is partnering with a leading Data & AI consulting organisation to hire an experienced Databricks Solution Architect for a permanent role in Sydney, Australia. The role demands expertise in designing enterprise Databricks solutions and delivering end-to-end data platforms across cloud providers.

You will lead architecture workshops, guide customers, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures with a strong focus on governance and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of consulting and technology experience.
• Minimum 7+ years in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or Analytics.
• Experience delivering 68+ enterprise Databricks implementations in production.
• Hands-on enterprise delivery experience is mandatory.
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale distributed data platforms.
• Strong customer-facing consulting and solution architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Databricks architecture design and delivery from discovery to production.
• Design and lead enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Architect scalable, secure, high-performance data platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Define end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business and technical objectives.
• Mentor teams and collaborate with customers to ensure successful implementations.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation and post-production support.
