Job summary

Hydrogen Uk Ltd is seeking an experienced Data Tester to join our data and technology team. You will design and execute automated validation across complex data pipelines, with a focus on data quality and reliability in Snowflake environments.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders, building scalable testing strategies and integrating tests into CI/CD workflows for reliable data releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in data testing, ETL testing or data engineering QA.
• Strong Snowflake and SQL expertise.
• Proficient in Python automation.
• Experience with Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of data warehouses and ETL/ELT processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute data testing strategies across enterprise data platforms.
• Perform ETL/ELT, data warehouse, and pipeline testing.
• Write complex SQL to validate data transformations and quality.
• Test data in Snowflake: tables, views, procedures.
• Validate data ingestion across source and target systems.
• Work with Apache Airflow to test DAGs and schedules.
• Develop automated tests integrated into Airflow pipelines and CI/CD.
• Identify and document defects; support regression and end-to-end testing.
