InterWorks in Perth, Australia seeks a Senior Solutions Architect who turns messy data problems into strategic value. You’ll lead client conversations, shape roadmaps and partner with executives to connect technical possibilities to business outcomes.

You’ll own data solution design end‑to‑end, guide governance and AI strategy, mentor teams and deliver architectures across Snowflake, Databricks and cloud platforms, balancing value with risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data architecture, consulting or advisory roles with client interaction.
• Proven ability to translate objectives into data strategies and solutions.
• Design architectures solving business problems, not just technical ones.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management for executives and technical teams.
• Solid SQL, data modelling and modern cloud data platform knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS infrastructure for data platforms.
• Experience with AI/GenAI in enterprise contexts and governance perspectives.
• Understanding of data governance, compliance and enterprise data strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead value conversations with senior stakeholders and align data initiatives with outcomes.
• Own data solution design from business needs to pragmatic roadmaps.
• Act as trusted advisor and grow accounts through engagements.
• Guide clients through governance, strategy and delivery choices.
• Provide architectural direction across cloud platforms and AI capabilities.
• Architect AI/GenAI solutions from RAG to ML pipelines with governance.
• Design scalable, secure cloud infrastructure balancing business value.
• Mentor consultants and engineers to tie work to business impact.
• Deliver hands‑on work with AI, IT, data, analytics and strategy teams.
