Job summary

SEEK is seeking a Senior Data Solution Designer to join the Data Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will translate complex business needs into scalable data products and models, working at the intersection of data engineering, analysis and design.

You will collaborate with a high-performing team to deliver data solutions that enable better insights and governance. You will contribute to data strategies, engage stakeholders, and help shape data platforms that support SEEK's

Qualifications

• Experience translating complex business needs into data solutions.
• Knowledge of data science concepts and methodologies.
• Strong data analytics skills across SQL, Python and DBT with data modelling approaches.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into data strategies and solutions.
• Design data models and data products to support business outcomes.
• Work with source-system interfaces and design scalable data transformation pipelines.
• Evaluate data integrity, investigate anomalies and support root-cause analysis.
• Establish data quality assurance processes including testing, monitoring and validation.
• Facilitate data design workshops and requirements sessions.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Contribute to data governance and design practices across the team.
