Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead the technical delivery of large-scale data platform and BI solutions. You will design, implement, and own the delivery of robust Data Platform and Insight solutions for our clients.

This is a client facing role requiring excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across levels. You’ll design data models, deploy AI-driven solutions, optimise performance, and guide clients on data management and integration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building and modernising EDW and analytics platforms.
• Strong data modelling knowledge: Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Hands-on data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Advanced SQL and Python for data engineering and analytics.
• Power BI proficiency: semantic modelling, DAX, dashboards.
• Experience with CI/CD and Git-based deployment in data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large-scale data platform and BI solutions for clients.
• Architect and deliver modern data and insight platforms with innovative ideas.
• Provide data management and integration guidance to clients.
• Design and implement relational and dimensional data models.
• Develop AI-driven data migration and warehouse modernization solutions.
• Tune performance and optimise data platforms and solutions.
• Oversee development lifecycles with code management tools.
• Create self-service Power BI solutions with deployment considerations.
• Deliver technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
