Job summary

InterWorks is seeking a senior Solutions Architect in Perth to drive data strategy and client value. You’ll own relationships, shape data solutions from concept to roadmap, and guide organizations from problems to measurable outcomes.

You will lead with business value, balancing governance, security and cost while showcasing deep technical credibility across Snowflake, Databricks and GenAI workloads. Remote work outside Perth is not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading data architecture or advisory work with client-facing impact.
• Ability to translate business objectives into data strategies and roadmaps.
• Design architectures that balance business value with technical trade-offs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management for executive audiences.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud data platforms and governance.
• Experience with AI/GenAI in enterprise contexts and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead business-value conversations with senior stakeholders and translate needs into data initiatives.
• Own data solution design end-to-end, creating pragmatic architectures and roadmaps.
• Act as trusted advisor, growing client accounts through long-term relationships.
• Guide clients through data challenges with governance, cost, and security considerations.
• Provide architectural direction across cloud data platforms and AI capabilities.
• Mentor consultants and engineers to connect technical work to business impact.
• Collaborate with AI, data, analytics and strategy teams on client engagements.
