Job summary

Foreign Trade Bank of Cambodia is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and build the Bank's data platform, reporting infrastructure, and advanced analytics solutions using transaction and operational data. You will develop data pipelines, automate reporting and controls, and deploy production-ready ML models to boost operational efficiency and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience building production data pipelines, including ≥2 years with banking or payments data.
• Advanced SQL in Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL; PL/SQL or T-SQL for stored procedures.
• Advanced Python with pandas, SciPy stack; production file processing and version control.
• Experience deploying and monitoring ML models in production on transaction/risk data; fraud detection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the reporting data layer from banking sources into a masked, read-only store.
• Develop and maintain daily exception controls for transactions and settlements.
• Automate report production and quantify time savings after implementation.
• Design, deploy, monitor, and retrain production ML models in an on-prem environment.
