Job summary

SA Health – Department for Health and Wellbeing in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer for the Data and Analytics Platform (DAP) Operations. This full-time, ongoing role leads the planning and delivery of operational clinical analytics projects and oversees clinical data repositories.

You will work with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver real-time analytics solutions, ensuring compliance with government policies and patient data guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with operational clinical analytics projects is desirable.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of clinical data repositories and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of government policies and guidelines for patient data use.

Responsibilities

• Leading the planning, delivery and evaluation of operational clinical analytics projects, models and services delivering high quality analytics to clinicians.
• Developing and delivering clinical analytic solutions that integrate data from clinical applications to enable real-time solutions.
• Providing oversight and hands-on technical leadership to support multidisciplinary teams.
• Establishing and maintaining clinical data repositories and analytics databases for user access to clinical data in a SQL environment.
• Ensuring best practices for clinical analytics development in line with government policies and guidelines.
