Job summary

SA Health in Adelaide CBD is seeking a Clinical Data Analyst to drive stakeholder engagement, coordinate performance programs and foster cross‑agency collaborations. You will advise health leaders on the Performance Framework, support governance and contribute to crisis management planning.

The role emphasizes advanced Excel use, data-driven KPI reporting, and experience with Power BI/SQL. A backfill contract up to 10 months with extension potential is offered.

Qualifications

Overview:

The Clinical Data analyst is responsible for:

• Planning, coordinating and implementing stakeholder engagement plans, projects, programs and processes that deliver a new relationship model across the Department (DHW), Local Health Networks (LHNs), South Australian Ambulance Service (SAAS) and broader health care providers and Government agencies, to facilitate a partnership approach.
  
• Building and sustaining effective collaborations with LHNs, SAAS and a broader range of providers to support achievement of key objectives and performance improvement strategies, advising, negotiating and leveraging expertise to influence effective outcomes for complex issues.
  
• Providing a range of expert advice and support to Health leaders, Steering Groups, senior project groups and convening working parties on the SA Health Performance Framework, related policies, Service Agreements, performance monitoring arrangements and system issues to support crisis management and resolution. Planning, developing and implementing initiatives that facilitate the organisation, preparation and successful delivery of performance meetings with LHNs, SAAS and other providers and associated governance and processes.

The successful candidate will possess strong client liaison skills and intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency. Experience working in health services and/or a clinical environment will be highly regarded. Experience with KPIs, performance reporting, Power BI, SQL, Denodo and/or Snowflake would be advantageous.
