Job summary

Cevo Australia is seeking a Lead Data Intelligence Consultant to architect scalable cloud data platforms on AWS and lead end‑to‑end data delivery across clients in Australia. You will define data modelling standards, drive governance, and mentor delivery teams across Databricks and Snowflake environments.

You will engage senior stakeholders, design robust data pipelines, and contribute to pre‑sales efforts while championing best practices and a culture of continuous evolution.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics roles.
• 3+ years in consulting or professional services.
• Hands-on AWS expertise across core services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Kinesis).
• Experience with Databricks Delta Lake Unity Catalog MLflow and Snowflake is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable cloud data platforms on AWS.
• Lead design and governance across Databricks and Snowflake.
• Define data modelling standards (star/snowflake, lakehouse).
• Establish CI/CD, code reviews, testing and documentation for data pipelines.
• Oversee dbt, PySpark, or SQL transformation workstreams.
