Job summary

Macquarie University is seeking a Senior Data & Integration Specialist to advance data flows between core systems and deliver new APIs and analytics pipelines. You will be hands-on, guide design decisions, and work with stakeholders to modernise university data fabrics across AMIS, Workday, FinanceOne, Pure and TrackCare.

You will lead technical direction in data modelling, pipeline architectures and integration tooling, while collaborating with the IT leadership to deliver reliable, scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven expertise in APIs, data integrations and data warehousing.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as AMIS, Workday, FinanceOne, Pure or TrackCare.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction across pipeline architectures, databases and integration platforms.
• Develop and maintain critical system integrations and APIs for IT projects.
• Advise clients and IT leadership on emerging technologies and trends.
• Oversee design, implementation and operation of IT services, ensuring compliance with standards and reliable service delivery.
• Progress continuous improvement of operational processes and documentation.
