Job summary

NSW Department of Customer Service is seeking a Senior Data Analyst and Insights to transform complex business challenges into actionable analytics, dashboards and reporting. You will provide expert, evidence-based insights to support executive decision-making and program delivery in a hybrid arrangement with two days on site.

You will work within the Data Products and Digital Strategy team, leveraging Power BI, Python and SQL to deliver end-to-end BI solutions and stakeholder-focused reporting

Qualifications

• Experience using Power BI, Python and SQL.
• Strong data storytelling and reporting skills.
• Experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions using modern tools.

Responsibilities

• Source, filter, interpret and analyse complex data to answer business problems and present insights clearly.
• Develop and implement reports or strategies to monitor performance and inform decisions.
• Analyse data from multiple sources to deliver innovative solutions while meeting deadlines.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure their requirements inform data analysis and reporting.
