Job summary

Talenza is partnering with a leading financial services organisation to engage a Project Manager to support a platform modernization program, establishing data governance across three streams and driving delivery with the Program Manager.

You will embed data governance frameworks, contribute to the data operating model, and oversee data migration, quality and management activities across core systems and CRM. Brisbane-based role requiring in-office attendance for immediate contract requirement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience managing complex technology, data or transformation projects.
• Proven experience delivering data governance and/or data transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data management, data operating models and data quality.
• Experience working across complex data environments, including data migration, core systems or modern data platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide informed insights for senior executives.
• Financial services experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery within the broader program.
• Establish and embed data governance frameworks, processes and practices from the ground up.
• Contribute to development and implementation of the organisation's data operating model.
• Drive data governance across the transformation lifecycle, from data entry and source systems through to processes, reporting and analytics.
• Coordinate data governance activities across major transformation initiatives, including the new core claims system and CRM.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and budgets.
• Support data migration, data quality and data management activities where required.
• Provide thought leadership and help build data governance capability across the organisation.
• Coordinate stakeholders across data, technology, operational and transformation teams to ensure governance is embedded into delivery.
• Support the establishment of forums, processes and ways of working to improve data governance and decision-making.
