Job summary

Sigma Healthcare is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to support the implementation and maturity of the Data Governance Framework across the organisation. You will work with data owners, stewards and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, integrity and responsible use, reporting to the Data Governance Manager from the Preston, VIC office.

You will develop governance artefacts, lead policy enforcement, and help advance data maturity while fostering a culture of data literacy and compliance

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Data, Analytics or related discipline.
• Around three years’ experience in data governance, information management or related tech role.
• Experience with data privacy legislation and governance controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine Sigma Data Governance Framework.
• Create governance artefacts: standards, policies, risk definitions, controls, procedures.
• Lead change management across business units to embed governance practices.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
• Develop metrics to assess governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with information security to control and audit data access.
• Drive data literacy and governance engagement across the organization.
• Support evolution of AI governance capabilities with responsible data use.
• Produce reports and dashboards monitoring governance KPIs.
• Maintain data governance tools and records.
