Job summary

Ferocia is seeking a Data Governance Implementation Lead to bridge technology, governance, and risk within the Up/Digital division. You will work hands-on with Data Custodians, Lead Data Stewards and Business System Owners to operationalise governance responsibilities and deliver on the strategic roadmap.

You’ll define data domains, map asset profiles, trace data lineage, and implement data quality frameworks using Collibra, with a focus on the Australian banking data environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data, analyst or engineering roles improving data governance.
• Experience in banking data governance is preferred.
• Fluent in SQL for data profiling and analysis.
• Knowledge of data domains, metadata management, and lineage.
• Experience with data governance platforms (Collibra) and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead data governance initiatives and map data domains.
• Define data asset profiles, CDEs, and data quality metrics.
• Document data lineage from source to reports.
• Collaborate with risk partners, data teams, and engineers.
• Establish governance operating model within the division.
