Job summary

Endeavour Group is seeking a Senior Manager - Data Engineering to architect scalable data pipelines and govern enterprise data assets across cloud platforms.

You will lead a team of 8–10 data engineers, partner with Data Architects, and champion self-service delivery while driving cost efficiency and data quality standards. The role emphasizes pragmatic, incremental delivery and AI-enabled workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven data engineering leadership of 8–10 engineers.
• Deep cloud data platform expertise across GCP.
• Experience with enterprise governance tools like Informatica (IICS).
• Strong background in ELT, data modelling, and dbt workflows.
• Hands-on with IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to define and enforce data standards and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Architect the paved road for data delivery and self-service pipelines.
• Guard enterprise data standards and production-ready patterns.
• Lead 8–10 engineers and govern multi-million-dollar partner delivery.
• Embed strict acceptance criteria and SOW governance with vendors.
• Establish observability, data quality, and alerting frameworks.
• Optimize cloud compute costs with FinOps collaboration.
• Drive iterative value delivery and reduce technical debt.
• Advance AI tool adoption to improve workflows and docs.
