Job summary

The Very Group is seeking a senior engineering leader for the Data team. You will lead multiple Data Engineering Managers, BI Engineering Managers and Lead Engineers, shaping data strategy and delivering scalable data products across the organization.

You will partner with Architecture, Product and Technology leaders to set the direction, modernise platforms, and manage debt while nurturing a diverse, high-performing team in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading large-scale data engineering organisations within modern technology environments (AWS, Teradata, Fivetran, Power BI).
• Track record of building, developing and inspiring high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong experience delivering data platforms, pipelines and products at scale.
• Hands-on experience in Data Engineering with modern engineering practices.
• Experience in Agile, DevSecOps and product-led delivery environments.
