Job summary

Endeavour Group in Australia is seeking a Senior Manager - Data Engineering to lead a team of 8–10 data engineers, set enterprise data standards, and scale the delivery ecosystem across GCP, Databricks, and Informatica.

You will champion a paved road approach, build self-service templates, automate tests, and drive Generative AI tooling to accelerate pipelines while collaborating with Data Science, Analytics, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of data engineering teams (8–10 direct reports).
• Cloud data platforms expertise (GCP) and governance tools like Informatica.
• Experience translating blueprints into production-grade ELT pipelines and dbt workflows.
• IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect the paved road for data delivery and self-service templates.
• Lead multi-million-dollar partner delivery and vendor governance.
• Mentor 8–10 data engineers and scale the delivery ecosystem.
• Drive Generative AI tooling for engineering workflows and documentation.
