News Corp Australia is seeking a Senior Data Engineer within the Commercial ID and Data Platforms team to design, build and optimise enterprise-wide data pipelines and platform architecture across four data platforms, including our central data hub and Adobe Experience platforms. You will deliver secure, scalable ELT/ETL processes in collaboration with product and marketing stakeholders.

With 8+ years in data engineering, you will mentor peers, drive data modeling, cloud-native solutions on AWS,

Competenze

8+ years of data engineering, warehousing, and ETL/ELT experience.
Hands-on AWS cloud and serverless architectures.
Proficiency in Python, Scala/Java, SQL; NoSQL databases.
Experience with PySpark/Spark and Databricks or Snowflake.

Mansioni

Design, develop and deploy real-time and batch ELT/ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, MWAA, Kinesis, and Flink.
Lead data modeling and performance tuning across Redshift, RDS, and PostgreSQL.
Integrate SaaS data platforms, data lakehouses, and third-party data sources.
Apply GenAI/Agentic AI to automate tasks and improve testing.
Enforce data security, privacy, RBAC and FinOps cost controls.
