Job summary

Mater Health Services on the Gold Coast seeks a Senior Data Engineer to join the Gold Coast Private Hospital Acquisition Project on a 12-month fixed-term contract, driving the integration of a hospital into Mater's data and analytics ecosystem. You will design scalable data pipelines, ingest new sources and build high-quality data assets for reliable reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building and supporting complex enterprise-scale data pipelines.
• Significant experience in Cloud ETL development using Databricks, Py Spark, Spark SQL and Notebooks.
• Significant experience in Data Modelling in a Data Warehouse / Lakehouse environment.
• Experience in Agile development practices using GitHub and Dev-Ops.
• A passion for delivering reliable, high-quality data solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working with clinical or healthcare data is highly regarded.
• Exposure to Informatica Mass Ingestion is desirable.
