Job summary

Mater Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Gold Coast Private Hospital Acquisition Project for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will design and build scalable data pipelines, ingest new source systems and develop high-quality data assets to support reporting and analytics across the organisation.

You will work with a high-performing team to integrate clinical data into Mater's enterprise data platform, enabling trusted reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building and supporting complex enterprise-scale data pipelines.
• Significant experience in Cloud ETL development using Databricks, Py Spark, Spark SQL, and Notebooks.
• Significant experience in Data Modelling in a Data Warehouse / Lakehouse environment.
• Experience in Agile development practices using GitHub and Dev-Ops.
• A passion for delivering reliable, high-quality data solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working with clinical or healthcare data is highly regarded.
• Exposure to Informatica Mass Ingestion is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines, ingesting new source systems and developing data assets.
• Deliver modern data solutions to support integration of clinical data into Mater's enterprise data platform for trusted reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts to enable cross-functional delivery.
