Job summary

Lumiq Talent is partnering with a leading Australian financial services business to hire a Data Engineer who will help design an AI native data platform within Snowflake. The role focuses on building scalable pipelines, AI-enriched datasets and reusable data products enabling in-database LLM, vector and semantic workflows.

• Experience building AI native data platforms on Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for data engineering.
• Exposure to LLM, vector, embedding or semantic data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines for an AI native platform.
• Enable in-database AI, LLM and semantic workflows within Snowflake.
• Model data for analytical and AI workloads (Data Vault/ dimensional).
• Prepare high-quality data for ML and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to bring Snowflake hosted intelligence to apps.
