Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking an experienced Data Engineer and Data Scientist for a 6-month contract in Melbourne or Adelaide, with a hybrid work setup. You will design Azure-based data pipelines, build data warehouses, and deliver AI-ready analytics capabilities in a major transformation program.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Python and Power BI, plus strong stakeholder engagement to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and data warehouses.
• Strong Power BI and reporting experience.
• Knowledge of analytics, statistical modelling, and data science practices.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
