Job summary

Edison Smart® is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning of data centre projects across Sydney. In this senior role you will own planning, coordination and handover for BMS, HVAC controls and building services, working with clients, contractors and project teams to deliver tested and commissioned systems to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commissioning on data centres or critical facilities.
• Proven ability to develop commissioning plans and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of BMS, HVAC controls and building services systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead teams across multiple contractors.

Responsibilities

• Leading the commissioning of BMS, controls and building services systems across major data centre projects.
• Developing and managing commissioning plans, procedures, schedules and documentation.
• Coordinating commissioning activities with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors and vendors.
• Managing functional performance testing, integrated systems testing and final commissioning.
• Identifying and resolving commissioning issues, defects and technical challenges.
• Ensuring commissioning activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
• Working closely with clients and consultants throughout the commissioning and handover process.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to commissioning engineers and technicians.
• Supporting project teams during testing, validation and handover phases.
