Job summary

Mission Critical Recruitment in Melbourne is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead full life cycle commissioning of critical data centre facilities.

You will work across generators, UPS, PDUs, HV/MV and LV switchgear, coordinating tests and documenting outcomes while communicating complex ideas to non-technical audiences under pressure.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified (trade or tertiary).
• Commissioning experience in complex or critical environments; data centre experience not essential.
• Background could be in pharmaceutical, hospitals, airports, universities or industrial facilities.
• Excellent documentational skills, strong communicator and technically minded.
• Must be able to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and execute full life cycle commissioning of data centre facilities.
• Involved in all stages of commissioning, from early design, managing commissioning scripts, witness testing through to project handover.
• Work across complex electrical systems including generators, UPS, PDUs, HV/MV, LV switchgear.
