Job summary

NEXTDC Limited is seeking a Project Director in Colocation Development to take full accountability for major data centre developments. The role leads cross-functional teams, oversees design to handover, and ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, it requires extensive experience in data centres or mission-critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and authority processes.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver major data centre developments.
• Embed safety-first culture across design, construction and operations.
• Direct governance, risk, procurement and financial reporting.
• Oversee design finalisation and regulatory approvals.
• Engage stakeholders and communicate progress to executives.
• Mentor teams and drive continuous improvement.
